Abstract
ABSTRAK Menyapih adalah proses berhentinya masa menyusui secara berangsur-angsur atau sekaligus. Fenomena yang ada, banyak ibu yang melakukan penyapihan di bawah usia dua tahun. Terbukti masih banyak ibu yang menggunakan cara penyapihan yang salah, seperti memberi plester, mengoleskan jamu, dan obat merah pada puting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu tentang penyapihan pada bayi usia 0-2 tahun. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 0-2 tahun di Posyandu Balita Kelurahan Kedungkandang. Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling. Sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Variabel penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan ibu tentang penyapihan. Analisa data meliputi editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. Tempat penelitian di Posyandu Balita Kelurahan Kedungkandang Kota Malang. Waktu penelitian Juni 2019. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil sebanyak 14 orang (46,6%) berpengetahuan cukup, 10 orang (33,3%) berpengetahuan kurang, dan 6 orang (20%) berpengetahuan baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh pengetahuan ibu tentang penyapihan dipengaruhi oleh usia, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan informasi.. Oleh karena itu hendaknya ibu lebih aktif untuk mencari informasi tentang penyapihan seperti bagaimana cara menyapih yang baik, dan kapan waktu yang tepat untuk dilakukan penyapihan. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Penyapihan ABSTRACT Weaning is the process of stopping the period of breastfeeding gradually or all at once. The phenomenon is that there are many mothers who weaning under the age of two years. Evidently there are still many mothers who use the wrong weaning methods, such as giving plaster, applying herbal medicine, and red medicine on the nipple. This study aim to determine the knowledge of mothers about weaning in infants aged 0-2 years. The research design used was descriptive. The population in this study were mothers who had infants aged 0-2 years at the Toddler Posyandu in Kedungkandang Village. The sampling technique use total sampling. A sample of 30 people. The variable of this research mother's knowledge about weaning. Data analysis include editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. The place of research at the Toddler Posyandu in Kedungkandang Village, Malang City. Research time in June 2019. Based on the results of this study, it was found that 14 people (46.6%) had sufficient knowledge, 10 people (33.3%) had insufficient knowledge, and 6 people (20%) had good knowledge. Based on the results of this study, mother's knowledge about weaning was influenced by age, education, work, and information. Therefore, mothers should be more active in finding information about weaning such as how to wean the good, and when the right time to do weaning. Keywords: Knowledge, Weaning
