Abstract
ABSTRACT A large population is one of the global problems in the world and can be a burden on the state in national development and economic growth. One of the efforts made by the government to overcome this is the family planning program (KB), one of which is to increase the use of long-term contraceptive methods (MKJP). Although these efforts have been implemented, the use of contraceptives, especially implants, is still low. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Effect of Therapeutic Communication on Anxiety Levels of Prospective Family Planning Implant Acceptors at the Ramdani Husada Clinic, Kromengan District, Malang Regency. This study uses the Pre-Experimental method by designing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used in this study obtained 16 respondents who were taken by the purposive sampling method. Prior to therapeutic communication, respondents had mild anxiety levels of 4 (25%), moderate 9 (56.25%) and severe 3 (18.75%). After that, therapeutic communication was carried out with no anxiety level 13 (81.25%), mild 2 (12.5%) and moderate 1 (6.25%). Prior to data analysis, normality test was performed. because the data from the normality test showed that the values were not normally distributed, statistical tests were carried out using the Wilcoxon test, the results showed that the value of p = 0.000 <a (0.05) so that H1 was accepted. In conclusion, there is a therapeutic interaction with the anxiety level of prospective implant family planning acceptors
