Abstract
Stigma adalah perilaku negatif yang meliputi Labelling, Stereotip, Separation dan Diskriminasi. Aspek ini menyebabkan kekambuhan pada penderita Gangguan Jiwa. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan antara Stigma Masyarakat tentang Gangguan Jiwa dengan Tingkat Kekambuhan Penderita Gangguan Jiwa di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bantur. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasinya adalah penderita gangguan jiwa dan tetangga penderita gangguan jiwa. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampling sebanyak 43 tetangga dan penderita gangguan jiwa sebanyak 43 orang di Desa Bantur Malang, bulan Mei 2018. Variabel yang diteliti adalah stigma masyarakat dan tingkat kekambuhan. Data penelitian diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Setelah ditabulasi data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Chi Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan stigma masyarakat pada penderita gangguan jiwa adalah kategori sedang 46,6%, kategori tinggi 41,9%, kategori cukup 11,6%. Tingkat kekambuhan gangguan jiwa adalah frekuensi sedang 55,8% Frekuensi rendah 37,2%, Frekuensi tinggi 7,0%. Hasil pengujian statistik diperoleh ada hubungan stigma masyarakat dan tingkat kekambuhan penderita gangguan jiwa dengan nilai koefesien korelasi sebesar 0,627 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000 (P<0,05). Melihat hasil penelitian, maka perlu sosialisasi mengenai stigma masyarakat agar dapat meminimalkan frekuensi tingkat kekambuhan penderita gangguan jiwa. AbstractStigma is a negative behavior that includes Labeling, Stereotyping, Separation and Discrimination. This aspect causes a recurrence in people with mental disorders. The purpose of this research is to know the relation between Community Stigma about Mental Disorder with Level of Recurrence of Mental Disorder in Bantur This research design uses correlational with Cross Sectional approach. The population is the sufferer of mental disorders and neighbors of mental disorders. The sampling method used is Purposive Sampling with the number of sampling as many as 43 neighbors and mental disorders as many as 43 people in Bantur Village Malang, May 2018. The variables studied are community stigma and recurrence rate. The data were collected using questionnaires. After tabulated the data were analyzed using Chi Square Test with significance level of 0.05. The result of this research shows that the stigma of people in mental disorder is moderate category 46,6%, high category 41,9%, enough category 11,6%. The recurrence rate of mental disorder was moderate 55.8% Low frequency 37.2%, high frequency 7.0%. The result of statistical test showed that there was a correlation between community stigma and the recurrence rate of mental disorder with correlation coefficient value of 0.627 with significant level 0.000 (P <0,05). Looking at the results of research, it is necessary socialization about the stigma of society in order to minimize the frequency of recurrence rates of people with mental disorders.
