Abstract
Abstract Fine motor is a movement that uses fine muscles or certain parts of the body. Popsicle Stick is a teaching aid to help the development of fine motor skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the game of popsicle sticks on fine motor development in children aged 4-5 years. The research method uses pre-experiment and the research design uses one group pre post test design. Sampling in this study using the Total Sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a popsicle stick game using a checklist sheet and measuring fine motor using an Observation sheet. The number of samples is 20 respondents. The results obtained before the treatment that 10 respondents BB and 10 respondents MB, and obtained after treatment that 3 respondents BSB, 6 respondents MB, and 11 respondents BSH, which increased by 17 respondents while 3 respondents did not increase. In this study using the Paired T-test analysis with significance limit α = 0.05. Statistical test results obtained p value of 0,000, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of popsicle stick games on fine motor development in children aged 4-5 years. It is hoped that the results of this study can help children to improve fine motor development
