Abstract
ABSTRAK ` Depresi dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti perasaan tidak berguna, mudah marah, sedih, merasa disingkirkan tidak dibutuhkan lagi. Selain itu, stress juga dapat menyebabkan seseorang menjadi lebih sensitif atau peka terhadap depresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat depresi dengan kualitas hidup lansia. Desain peneletian ini menggunakan korelatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua Lansia di Tresna Werdha Blitar pada tanggal 13 april 2019. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 11 responden. Variable independent pada penelitian ini adalah tingkat depresi, dan variable dependent pada penelitian ini adalah kualitas hidup. Uji data menggunakan Lambda. Hasil penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat depresi dan mengetahui kualitas hidup lansia di UPT pelayanan social Tresna Werdha Kabupaten Blitar. Uji Korelasi menggunakan Lambda didapatkan p= 0.018 dan r= 0.487 (α ≤ 0,005), yang artinya ada hubungan tingkat depresi dengan kualitas hidup lansia. Tingkat depresi berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup lansia. Dengan mengetahui tingkat depresi pada lansia, diharapkan kualitas hidup lansia dapat teratasi.
