Abstract

ABSTRAK Hiperkolesterolemia adalah suatu kondisi dimana meningkatnya kadar kolesterol yang melebihi batas normal (>200 mg/dl) dalam darah. Penyebab hiperkolesterolemia dikarenakan asupan lemak yang tinggi dan kurangnya asupan diet rendah kolesterol yang banyak terjadi pada lansia karena semakin bertambah usia semakin meningkat pula kadar kolesterol darah. Sehingga salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan diet rendah kolesterol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini seluruh peserta posyandu lansia di Desa Kedungwungu Blitar yang menderita hiperkolesterolemia. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia penderita hiperkolesterolemia di Desa Kedungwungu Blitar. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2019. Analisis data menggunakan data distribusi frekuensi. Dengan menggunakan instrumen kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, sebanyak 9 lansia (41%) sudah baik dalam penerapan diet rendah kolesterol, 13 lansia (59%) masih cukup dalam penerapan diet rendah kolesterol. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena ada beberapa faktor lain yang mempengaruhi diet rendah kolesterol adalah pekerjaan, pendidikan , dukungan keluarga. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diharapkan lansia untuk tetap menjaga pola makan dengan diet rendah kolesterol. Kata Kunci : hiperkolesterolemia, diet rendah kolesterol, lansia ABSTRACT Hypercholesterolemia is a condition in which increased levels of cholesterol beyond normal limits (> 200 mg / dl) in the blood. The cause of hypercholesterolemia because of a high intake of fat and low cholesterol diet intake were more common in the elderly because of increasing age also increase the blood cholesterol levels. So that one attempts to do is to adopt a low-cholesterol diet. The study design used is descriptive. The population in this study all participants Posyandu in Blitar Kedungwungu village suffering from hypercholesterolemia. The study was conducted in May 2019. Data analysis using distribution and frequency. By using questionnaire instrument. The results showed, as many as nine elderly (41%) were either in the application of low-cholesterol diet, 13 elderly (59%) is still in the application of low-cholesterol diet. This is possible because there are several other factors that affect low-cholesterol diet is work, education, family support. Based on this research, the elderly are expected to maintain a diet with a low cholesterol diet. Keywords: hypercholesterolemia, low-cholesterol diet, elderly
