Abstract
ABSTRAK Rooming in merupakan perawatan bayi dan ibu dalam satu ruangan untuk memudahkan ibu dalam memberikan ASI. Air susu ibu (ASI) yaitu cairan bernutrisi dan berenergi tinggi bagi bayi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara metode rooming in dengan pemberian ASI ekslusif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional yang dianalisis secara retrospektif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 responden yang diambil dengan metode total sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar wawancara, uji analisis data uji chisquare. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari sebagian besar responden sebanyak 20 orang (64.5%) yang dilakukan rooming in dan memberikan ASI Ekslusif, yang tidak dilakukan rooming in dan tidak memberikan ASI Ekslusif hampir seluruhnya sebanyak 7 orang (77.8%). Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan chisquare dengan tingkat kesalahan 0,05. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,025 (p<0,05). Karena nilai p value (0,025<0,05), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara rooming in dengan pemberian ASI ekslusif di Polindes Rejoyoso Bantur Kabupaten Malang. Diharapkan penelitian ini agar ibu nifas dilakukan rooming in untuk keberhasilan ASI ekslusif. Kata kunci : Metode rooming in dan ASI ekslusif. ABSTRACT Rooming in is the care of babies and mothers in one room to make it easier for mothers to give breast milk. Mother's milk (ASI) is a nutritious and high-energy liquid for babies. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the method of rooming in with exclusive breastfeeding. The research design used was cross sectional which was analyzed retrospectively. The sample used in this study amounted to 40 respondents taken by the total sampling method. Data retrieval is done using interview sheets, test analysis of chi-square test data. The results were obtained from most of the respondents as many as 20 people (64.5%) who conducted rooming in and gave exclusive breastfeeding, which did not do rooming in and did not provide exclusive breastfeeding almost as many as 7 people (77.8%). In this study using chi-square with an error rate of 0.05. The results of the statistical test showed a significance value of 0.025 (p <0.05). Because the value of p value (0.025 <0.05), it can be concluded that there is a relationship between rooming in with the provision of exclusive breastfeeding in the Rejoyoso Bantur Polindes Malang Regency. It is hoped that this research will allow the postpartum mother to be roomed in to succeed in exclusive breastfeeding. Keywords: Method of rooming in and exclusive breastfeeding.
