Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam persalinan terjadi perubahan fisik dan psikis yang membuat ibu merasa kurang nyaman, sering kesulitan bernafas, takut, stres dan merasakan nyeri saat persalinan. Nyeri persalinan dapat ditangani dengan pemberian aromaterapi jeruk (bitter oranges) karna mempunyai efek relaksasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi jeruk (bitter orenges) terhadap intesitas nyeri pada ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif di puskesmas wajak kabupaten malang. Desain penelitian ini adalah experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttes. Jumlah sampel 10 responden yang ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling dengan hasil intensitas nyeri sebelum pemberian sedikit nyeri terdapat 1 responden dan sesudah diberikan aromaterapi intensitas nyeri sedikit nyeri berubah menjadi 6 responden. Uji statistik menggunakan paired t-test diperoleh nilai p = 0,000≤0,05 artinya Ha diterima ada pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi jeruk (bitter orenges) terhadap intensitas nyeri pada ibu inpartu kala I fase aktif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian aromaterapi jeruk (bitter oranges) terbukti signifikan mampu mengatasi nyeri pada ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif. Diharapkan aromaterapi jeruk (bitter oranges) dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam mengatasi nyeri pada ibu bersalin kala l fase aktif. Kata kunci: Aromaterapi jeruk (bitter orenges), Nyeri persalinan ABSTRACT In labor there are physical and psychological changes that make the mother feel uncomfortable, often having difficulty breathing, fear, stress and feeling pain during labor. Labor pain can be treated with administration of orange aromatherapy (bitter oranges) because it has a relaxing effect. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of administration of orange aromatherapy (bitter orenges) on the intensity of pain in the first phase of labor in the active phase in the poor health center of Wajak district. The design of this study was experimental with the design of one group pretest-posttes. Samples of 10 respondents was determined by purposive sampling method. The statistical test using paired t-test obtained a p value = 0,000 <0,05, which means that Ha was accepted. after being given aromatherapy the intensity of pain a little pain changed to 6 respondents. It can be concluded that the administration of citrus aromatherapy (bitter oranges) has been shown to be able to significantly cope with pain in the mother during the active phase. It is expected that orange aromatherapy (bitter oranges) can be used as an alternative in dealing with pain in the mother during the active phase.
