Abstract
ABSTRAK Kadar gula darah yang tinggi dalam jangka panjang pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM) dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi kronis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes melitus di poli penyakit dalam RS dr. Soepraoen Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh pasien DM yang kontrol pada bulan Maret di poli penyakit dalam RS dr. Soepraoen Malang. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan kuota sampling yaitu sejumlah 82 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Uji Korelasi Lambda. Hasil analisa menunjukkan ada hubungan antara kadar gula darah dengan kejadian komplikasi DM (p value = 0.000, r=0,415). Kadar gula darah yang tidak terkontrol menyebabkan kejadian komplikasi DM. Sebaiknya penderita DM meningkatkan kepatuhan pengendalian kadar gula agar terhindar dari komplikasi DM. Kata Kunci: Kadar Gula, Komplikasi DM ABSTRACT Of High blood sugar levels in the long run in people with diabetes mellitus can cause a variety of chronic complications. On a patient diabetes mellitus in polyclinic disease in hospital dr. Soepraoen Malang. The kind of research this is the correlation with approach of cross sectional. The population was all the patients diabetes mellitus who control on of march in polyclinic a disease in hospital dr. Soepraoen Malang. Were selected in using the sampling method of sample consecutive and east java 82 respondents. Statistical tests used is the correlation lambda. The results of the analysis shows the value = 0.000 p, p value (0.000)<α(0,05) rejected which means there are the relationship between blood sugar in the complications diabets mellitus. Correlation coefficient obtained by 0,415 indicating that the correlation (r) positive and collaborating was. The research it can be concluded that uncontrolled blood sugar concentration is causing the incident complication diabetes meellitus.
