Abstract
Pendahuluan: Merokok merupakan salah satu kebiasaan masyarakat Indonesia. Bagi sebagian orang rokok sudah menjadi kebutuhan dan gaya hidup yang tidak dapat ditinggalkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Terdapat tren di masyarakat untuk mengurangi atau berhenti merokok dengan beralih menggunakan rokok elektrik (vape). Alasanseseorangmenggunakanrokokelektrikmasihperluditeliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi penggunaan rokok elektrik (vape) pada anggota komunitas rokok elektrik (vape). Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode simple random sampling. Variabel penelitiannya yaitu faktor yang melatarbelakangi penggunan rokok elektrik dengan sub variabel ada tiga yaitu faktor keluarga, faktor gaya hidup, faktor lingkungan sosial. Tempat penelitian di Komunitas Hexohm Kota Malang dan waktu penelitian yaitu 30 Maret - 5 April 2020. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Hasil: Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar faktor keluarga mempengaruhi responden menggunakanrokokelektrik sebanyak 30 responden (77%). Sebagian besar faktor gaya hidup pada responden mempengaruhi sebanyak 32 responden (82%). Sebagian besar faktor lingkungan sosial responden mempengaruhi sebanyak 29 responden (74%). Diskusi: Diharapkan pada anggota komunitas menjadi bahan edukasi atau wawasan mengenai faktor yang melatarbelakangi penggunaan rokok elektrik dan menggunakan rokok elektrik sesuai dengan fungsinya. ABSTRACT Background: Smoking is one of the habits of the Indonesian people. For some people, smoking has become a necessity and lifestyle that cannot be left behind in everyday life. There is a trend in society to reduce or stop smoking by switching to using e-cigarettes (vape). The reason someone uses electric cigarettes still needs to be investigated. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors underlying the use of e-cigarettes (vape) in members of the e-cigarette community (vape). Methods: This research uses descriptive research design. The sampling technique is by simple random sampling method. The research variables are the factors underlying the use of e-cigarettes with three sub-variables namely family factors, lifestyle factors, social environmental factors. The place of research is Hexohm Community in Malang City and the research time is March 30 - April 5, 2020. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: Based on the research, it was found that most family factors influence respondents using electric cigarettes by 30 respondents (77%). Most of the lifestyle factors on respondents affected 32 respondents (82%). Most of the respondents' social environmental factors affected 29 respondents (74%). Discussion: It is hoped that community members will become educational material or insights on the factors behind the use of e-cigarettes and use e-cigarettes according to their function.
