Abstract
ABSTRAK Stunting adalah masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu cukup lama akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi .Stunting (balita pendek) ketika usia balita pada umumnya sering tidak disadari oleh keluarga dan setelah 2 tahun baru terlihat dan berdampak pada kemampuan kognitif dan produktivitas jangka panjang, bahkan bisa berdampak pada kematian.Metode penelitian menggunakan cross sectional.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan berat badan lahir dengan kejadian stunting pada balita usia 1-5 tahun. Jumlah sample yang ada yaitu 74 responden. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagian terdapat suspect dan normal yaitu masing-masing (50%) dan sebagian lagi terdapat (50%). Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji Chi-Square dengan diperoleh hasil nilai signifikan 0,000 p value 0,05. karena nilai p value (0,00) < (0,05) maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima, disimpulkan bahwa ada Hubungan Berat Badan Lahir dengan Kejadian Stunting pada Balita Usia 1-5 tahun. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan Berat Badan Lahir dengan Kejadian Stunting pada Balita Usia 1-5 Tahun di Puskesmas Sumbermanjing Kulon Kecamatan Pagak Kabupaten Malang. Di harapkan dapat membantu agar orang tua mengetahui asupan gizi untuk balita agar tidak terjadi stunting. Kata Kunci: Berat badan lahir, Kejadian stunting pada balita usia 1-5 tahun. ABSTRACT Stunting is a problem of chronic malnutrition caused by insufficient nutritional intake in a long time due to the provision of food that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. Stunting (short toddlers) when the toddler is in general is often not realized by the family and after 2 new years looks and impacts on cognitive abilities and long-term productivity, it can even have an impact on death. The method of research uses cross sectional. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between birth weight and the incidence of stunting in children aged 1-5 years. The number of samples is 74 respondents. The results showed that some of the suspect and normal were each (50%) and some were (50%). In this study using Chi-Square test analysis with the obtained significant value 0,000 p value 0.05. because the value of p value (0,00) <(0,05) then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, it is concluded that there is a Relationship between Birth Weight and the incidence of Stunting in Toddlers Aged 1-5 years. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between Birth Weight and Stunting Event in Toddlers Aged 1-5 Years in Sumbermanjing Kulon Health Center, Pagak District, Malang Regency. It is hoped that it can help parents to find out nutrition for toddlers so that stunting does not occur. Keyword : Birth weight, Stunting incidence in infants aged 1-5 years.
