Abstract
Keputihan adalah cairan yang keluar dari alat genital wanita. Cairan ini banyak manfaatnya jika dalam keadaan normal, tetapi jika tidak normal harus mendapat penanganan serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keputihan abnormal dilihat dari tanda dan gejala yang menyertai sebelum dan sesudah mendapat perlakuan terapi akupunktur. Populasinya semua penderita keputihan abnormal yang ditangani dengan akupunktur di klinik Akupunktur “YULIE” Situbondo. Teknik purposive sampling dipilih dengan sampel 20 wanita berusia 14–22 tahun. Terapi akupunktur dilakukan 2x/minggu selama tiga minggu atau 6 kali terapi. Uji Wilcoxon’s Signed Ranks Test digunakan untuk membuktikan signifikansinya. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada gejala/tanda keputihan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi akupunktur (t hitung = 210 < t tabel = 337) α = 0,05; H0 ditolak, berarti ada pengaruh perlakuan terapi akupunktur terhadap profil keputihan. Sebanyak dua sampai lima tanda dan gejala keputihan dialami responden sebelum menjalani terapi akupunktur. Sedangkan setelah menjalani terapi akupunktur di sesi terakhir didapatkan hanya ada dua tanda/gejala saja yang masih dialami oleh lima orang responden. Terapi dilanjutkan pada lima orang tersebut di luar waktu penelitian Abstract Vaginal discharge is fluid that comes out of the female genitalia. This fluid has many benefits if under normal circumstances, but if it is not normal it should get serious treatment. This study aims to determine the profile of abnormal vaginal discharge seen from the accompanying signs and symptoms before and after receiving acupuncture therapy. The population is all patients with abnormal vaginal discharge who are treated with acupuncture at the Acupuncture clinic "YULIE" Situbondo. Purposive sampling technique was chosen with a sample of 20 women aged 14–22 years. Acupuncture therapy was carried out 2x/week for three weeks or 6 times therapy. Wilcoxon's Signed Ranks Test was used to prove its significance. The results of statistical tests showed that there were significant differences in symptoms/signs of vaginal discharge between before and after acupuncture intervention (t count = 210 < t table = 337) = 0.05; H0 is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of acupuncture therapy on the whiteness profile. A total of two to five signs and symptoms of vaginal discharge experienced by respondents before undergoing acupuncture therapy. Meanwhile, after undergoing acupuncture therapy in the last session, it was found that there were only two signs/symptoms that were still experienced by five respondents. Therapy was continued in these five people outside the study period.
