Abstract

Pertumbuhan merupakan salah satu indikator terbaik untuk melihat status gizi dan kesehatan anak. Gizi kurang pada anak bisa terjadi karena kurangnya zat sumber tenaga dan kurang protein (zat pembangun). Tercukupinya kebutuhan protein menjadi salah satu alternatif cara untuk menekan kasus gizi buruk. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) pada balita kurus atau balita dengan berat badan dibawah normal. Penyusunan BMC untuk balita kurus menggunakan bahan pangan dengan kandungan energi dan protein tinggi. Pembuatan cookies pisang candi merupakan salah satu bentuk dari MPASI yang bisa membantu peningkatan berat badan balita. Pisang candi merupanakn pisang dengan kadar karbohidrat 31,89g per 100 gram, protein 1,3g per 100 gram, kadar ini lah yang menjadi salah satu unggulan dari pisang candi karena kadar yang tinggi diantara pisang-pisang yang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian cookies pisang candi terhadap peningkatan balita usia 12-24 bulan di Desa Torongrejo. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan porpisive sampling. Variabel dependent nya yaitu cookies pisang candi dan variable dependent nya peningkatan berat badan balita usia 12-24 bulan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, serti uji statistic Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan dari 20 responden. Sebelum diberikan cookies pisang candi seluruh balita berat badannya berada dibawah normal, perempuan 9,5 kg�11,9 kg dan laki-laki 10,1 kg-12,6 kg. Setelah diberikan cookies pisang candi berat badan balita naik sebanyak 16 balita (80%) berat tetap 3 balita (15%) dan turun 1 balita (5%). Setelah dilakukan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa nilai p value 0,000<0,005 sehingga Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya adalah ada pengaruh pemberian cookies pisang candi terhadap peningkatan berat badan balita usia 12-24 bulan di Desa Torongrejo. Peneliti menyarankan kepada orangtua responden yang anaknya berat badan di bawah normal dapat menggunakan cookies pisang candi sebagai PMT. ABSTRACT Growth is one of the best indicators to see the nutritional status and health of children. Malnutrition in children can occur due to lack of energy sources and lack of protein (building substances). Sufficient protein needs become an alternative way to suppress cases of malnutrition. To overcome this problem, one way that can be done is the Provision of Supplementary Food (PMT) to underweight toddlers or underweight toddlers. The preparation of BMC for underweight toddlers uses food ingredients with high energy and protein content. Making Candi banana cookies is a form of complementary food that can help increase toddlers' weight. Candi bananas are bananas with a carbohydrate content of 31.89g per 100 grams, protein 1.3g per 100 grams, this level is one of the superiors of temple bananas because of their high content among other bananas.The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving Candi banana cookies to the increase in toddlers aged 12-24 months in Torongrejo Village. This research technique uses porpisive sampling. The dependent variable is Candi banana cookies and the dependent variable is the increase in body weight of toddlers aged 12-24 months. Collecting data using the method of observation. The data processing technique uses editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, and Wilcoxon statistical test certificates.The results of this study were obtained from 20 respondents. Before being given Candi banana cookies, all toddlers weighed below normal female 9,5 kg-11,9 kg, male 10,1 kg�12,6 kg. After being given Candi banana cookies, the weight of the toddlers increased by 16 toddlers (80%), the weight remained 3 toddlers (15%) and decreased by 1 toddler (5%). After the Wilcoxon test showed that the p value was 0.000 <0.005, so Ha was accepted. The conclusion is that there is an effect of giving Candi Banana Cookies on increasing the weight of toddlers aged 12-24 months in Torongrejo Village. Researchers suggest that parents of respondents whose children are under normal weight can use Candi banana cookies as PMT.
