Abstract
Blush On (pemerah pipi) merupakan riasan wajah yang dipakai untuk memberi warna merah (blush) pada pipi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui formulasi sediaan blush on ekstrak daun jati (Tectona grandis L.f) menggunakan paraffin liquid sebagai pengikat. Formula dibedakan pada baanyak persentase paraffin liquid sebagai pengikat. Metode ekstaksi yang dilakukan untuk mengambil zat warna pada daun jati sebagai pengganti warna sintetis dengan metode maserasi. Tetnik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif meliputi, uji organileptis, uji homogenitas, uji pH, dan uji keretakan. Berdasarkan uji organoleptis yang dilakukan menandakan bahwa tidak adanya perubahan warna dan kestabilan yang baik. Hasil uji homogenitas dan uji pH bahwa tidak adanya butiran kasar kemudian uji ph berkisar 6 (sesuai dengan interval pH kulit secara umum) dan tidak menimbulkan iritasi sehingga aman digunakan pada kulit. Uji keretakan penelitian sediaan blush on dengan pengikat 1% dan 5% hasil sediaan yang diperoleh adalah pecah. Selanjutnya sediaan blush on dengan pengikat 10% hasil sediaan yang didapatkan tidak pecah. ABSTRACT Blush On is a facial makeup that is used to give a red color (blush) to the cheeks. The purpose of this study was to determine the formulation of a blush on teak leaf extract (Tectona grandis L.f) using liquid paraffin as a binder. Formulas differ in the percentage of liquid paraffin as a binder. Extraction method is used to extract the dye in teak leaves as a substitute for synthetic color using the maceration method. The data analysis technique used in this study is an experimental research conducted using qualitative analysis methods including, organileptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, and crack test. Based on the organoleptic test, it indicated that there was no color change and good stability. The results of the homogeneity test and pH test showed that there were no coarse grains and then the pH test ranged from 6 (according to the general skin pH interval) and did not cause irritation so it was safe to use on the skin. The research crack test of blush on preparations with 1% and 5% binder results obtained is broken. Furthermore, the blush on preparation with a 10% binder was obtained which did not break.
