Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) adalah penyakit akut yang ditandai dengan kadar gula yang melebihi normal,tepatnya yaitu kadar gula sewaktu >200 mg/dl,dan kadar gula puasa >126 mg/dl. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan obat pada pasien diabetes mellitus di Faskes I Wira Husada Kota Malang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian observasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah semua penderita DM yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi di Faskes I Wira Husada Malang yang berjumlah 96 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini,diketahui pengetahuan pasien diabetes melitus mengenai penyakit diabetes yang menjadi responden mayoritas cukup yaitu 47 orang (51,4%) sedangkan tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan obat pada pasien diabetes yang menjadi responden mayoritas rendah yaitu 47 orang (51,4%).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini,diketahui bahwa nilai korelasi antara tingkat pengetahuan terhadap kepatuhan sebesar p=0,004 (p<0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan terhadap kepatuhan pada pasien diabetes mellitus di Faskes I Wira Husada Malang. ABSTRACT Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is an acute disease characterized by sugar levels that exceed normal, to be precise, namely current sugar levels > 200 mg/dl, and fasting sugar levels > 126 mg/dl. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of adherence to drug use in patients with diabetes mellitus at Health Facilities I Wira Husada Malang City. This research is an observational study using a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were all DM patients who met the inclusion criteria at the Wira Husada Health Health Facility I, Malang, amounting to 96 respondents. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients about diabetes who became the majority of respondents was sufficient, namely 47 people (51.4%) while the level of adherence to drug use in diabetic patients who were the majority respondents was low, namely 47 people (51.4%). Based on the results of this study, it is known that the correlation value between the level of knowledge and adherence is p = 0.004 (p <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence in patients with diabetes mellitus at Health Facilities I Wira Husada Malang.
