Abstract
Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit menahun yang tidak bisa disembuhkan dan memiliki resiko yang lebih tinggi untuk terpapar penyakit Covid 19.Hiperglikemia kronis dan inflamasi dikenal sebagai penyebab respon imun yang abnormal dan tidak efektif. Kepatuhan meminum obat memegang peranan sangat penting pada keberhasilan pengobatannya Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian non-eksperimental dimana pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan secara Observational dan bersifat deskriptif.Pengumpulan data kepatuhan minum obat menggunakan Kuesioner MMAS 8.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat kepatuhan minum obat pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 pada masa pandemi covid-19 di poliklinik RS Baptis Batu sebesar 84% memiliki nilai tinggi,sedang 7% dan rendah 9%.Sebagian besar responden adalah perempuan,rentang usia 55-65 tahun,pendidikan terakhir sekolah dasar,tidak bekerja dan menerima pengobatan antihiperglikemi oral kombinasi. ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that cannot be cured and has a higher risk of being exposed to Covid 19. Chronic hyperglycemia and inflammation are known to cause abnormal and ineffective immune responses. Adherence to taking medication plays a very important role in the success of treatment. This research is a non-experimental study where data collection is carried out using an observational and descriptive approach. Data collection on medication adherence uses the MMAS Questionnaire.Diabetes mellitus type 2 during the covid-19 pandemic at the Batu Baptis Hospital Batu polyclinic, 84% had high, medium 7% and low 9% scores. Most of the respondents were women, age ranged 55-65 years old, last elementary school education, did not work and receiving combination oral antihyperglycemic treatment.
