Abstract
ABSTRAK Dukun bayi adalah orang yang dianggap terampil dan dipercaya oleh masyarakat untuk menolong persalinan sekaligus perawatan ibu dan anak sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Berdasarkan penelitian Prawirohardjo (2006), dukun bayi melakukan perawatan pada bayi tanpa memperhatikan keamanan, kebersihan dan mekanisme sebagaimana mestinya, sehingga tindakan yang dilakukan dalam perawatan pada bayi baru lahir tidak sesuai dengan ilmu kesehatan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dengan tindakan dukun bayi dalam perawatan bayi baru lahir di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bululawang Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah dukun bayi di Wiliayah Kerja Puskesmas Bululawang yang berjumlah 20 responden. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah Total sampling. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan dan tindakan dukun bayi dalam melakukan perawatan pada bayi baru lahir. Setelah di tabulasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Rank Spearman Correlation dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,01. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh ada hubungan pengetahuan dan tindakan dukun bayi dalam perawatan bayi baru lahir dengan tingkat signifikasi α= 0,01 dengan p value=0,001 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar (+)0,663. Melihat hasil penelitian ini maka perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dukun bayi agar dalam melakukan tindakan perawatan pada bayi baru lahir dapat sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada. Kata Kunci : pengetahuan dukun bayi, tindakal perawatan bayi baru lahir ABSTRACT Traditional midwife were a person who was regarded skilled and trusted by the community to helped childbirth as well as mother and child health in accordance with the needed of the people. Based on Prawirohardjo‟s (2006) research, traditional midwife did treatment in an infant without pays attention to security, cleanliness and mechanisms as well as it should, so that the act of have done of in newborn infants not in accordance with the knowledge of the available health. Research aims to understood the relation of knowledge by the behaviour of traditional midwife in the care of newborn babies in the work area of Puskesmas Bululawang Kabupaten Malang. Design this research used correlation with cross sectional. The Population from this research were all traditional midwife in the work area of puskesmas Bululawang amounting to 20 respondents. Sampling methods used was a total sampling. The variables studied were the knowledge and behavior of traditional midwife a maintenance in newborn babies. After from tabulation, then analyzed used the rank spearman correlation with a meaning 0,01. The result will be statistical testing there was a correlation knowledge and the behaviour of traditional midwife in the care of babies born with new extent of signification α= 0,01 with p value=0,001 and correlation coefficient of ( + ) 0,663. The result of this research needs to be attempts to increased knowledge traditional midwife so as to be in do the behaviour of nursing in newborn infants can be in accordance with the procedures that.
