Abstract

The complex IGD work environment will affect the quality of care, health care, including inaccurate or incomplete documentation. Incomplete nursing documentation indicates that the nursing care process is not working properly and continuously. Theory of Planed Behavior (TPB) has been used to describe a person's behavior and identify important factors that influence. The purpose of this study was to knows correlation between attitude and pbc with intention in documenting nursing care in Emergency Installation using Theory of Planed Behavior. The research design used observational analysis with cross sectional approach. The sample in this research is part of nurse of executing at IGD RS dr Soepraoen, IGD RS Panti Waluya Sawahan and IGD RS Islam Malang. The sample of 45 nurses IGD and 341 documents were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The result of statistical analysis of partial least square shows that there is a significant correlation between attitude with intention, between perceived behavioral control with intention by each value of T-Statistic equal to> 1.68. Hospital and nurse IGD is expected to develop a positive attitude and good PBC so that cause good intention then formed good nursing documenting behavior as well.
