Abstract

Anemia merupakan salah satu akibat dari perdarahan dalam kehamilan. Anemia akan meningkatkan frekuensi komplikasi pada kehamilan dan persalinan. Rumput laut mengandung beberapa senyawa antara yang diperlukan dalam sintesis hemoglobin seperti zat besi, protein dan vitamin B kompleks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi es krim rumput laut (Eucheuma cottonii) terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil trimester II dengan anemia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experiment dengan desain pre test and post test control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Ibu hamil trimester II dengan anemia yang ada di Puskesmas Bululawang Kabupaten Malang. Sampling penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 orang. Teknik analisa datanya menggunakan uji statistik Paired T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kadar Hb sebelum diberikan tablet Fe seluruhnya dalam kategori anemia ringan dan setelah diberikan tablet Fe hampir seluruhnya dalam kategori tidak anemia, Kadar Hb sebelum diberikan tablet Fe & Es Krim Rumput Laut seluruhnya dalam kategori anemia ringan & setelah diberikan tablet Fe & Es Krim Rumput Laut seluruhnya dalam kategori tidak anemia. Hasil analisa data didapatkan nilai ρ = 0,000. Yang berarti ada pengaruh konsumsi es krim rumput laut (Eucheuma cottonii) terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil trimester II dengan anemia di Puskesmas Bululawang Kabupaten Malang. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil diharapkan dapat melakukan pemilihan bahan makanan yang dapat meningkatkan asupan zat gizi seperti rumput laut sehingga dapat meningkatkan kadar Hb. Abstract Anemia was one result of bleeding in pregnancy. Anemia would be increased the frequency of complications in pregnancy and childbirth. Seaweed contains several intermediate compounds needed in the synthesis of hemoglobin such as iron, protein and vitamin B complex. The purpose of this studied was to determine the effect of consumption of seaweed ice cream (Eucheuma cottonii) on hemoglobin levels in second trimester pregnant women with anemia. This type of research is Quasy Experiment with pre-test and post-test control group design. The population was second trimester pregnant women with anemia in the Bululawang Public Health Center in Malang Regency. Sampling of this studied used a purposive sampling method and the number of samples of this studied was 30 people. The data analysis technique used the Paired T-Test statistical test. The results showed that Hb levels before given Fe tablets were entirely in the category of mild anemia and after being given Fe tablets almost entirely in the category of not anemia, Hb levels before being given Fe & Ice Cream Seaweed tablets entirely in the mild anemia category & after being given Fe & Ice Cream tablets Seaweed is entirely in the category of not anemia. The results of data analysis obtained the value of ρ = 0,000. Which means that there was an effect of consumption of seaweed ice cream (Eucheuma cottonii) on hemoglobin levels in second trimester pregnant women with anemia at Bululawang Public Health Center in Malang Regency. Suggestions from this research are expectant mothers to be able to make food choices that could be increase the intake of nutrients such as seaweed so as to increase Hb levels
