Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada usia sekolah dasar anak mulai menentukan sendiri jenis makanan yang akan mereka konsumsi karena pada usia ini anak sudah mulai mendapat uang saku dan bukan bekal makanan dari rumah. Kecenderungan menyukai jajanan yang banyak mengandung penyedap, pewarna, dan pengawet memperburuk keadaan gizi anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran perilaku anak sekolah dasar kelas 5 dan 6 tentang konsumsi jajanan sehat di MI Al-Hidayah Jabung. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas 5 dan 6 MI Al-Hidayah Jabung. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 44 responden. Variabel yang diteliti adalah perilaku siswa kelas 5 dan 6 tentang konsumsi jajanan sehat. Data penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak satupun siswa yang memiliki perilaku baik dalam hal mengkonsumsi jajanan sehat (0%), sedangkan sebagian besar siswa memiliki perilaku yang cukup dalam hal mengkonsumsi jajanan sehat sebanyak 23 anak (52%), dan hampir setengahnya siswa memiliki perilaku yang kurang dalam hal mengkonsumsi jajanan sehat sebanyak 21 anak (48%). Diharapkan bagi institusi, peneliti, masyarakat dan peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengembangkan pemberian edukasi pada anak sekolah tentang konsumsi jajanan sehat. ABSTRACT At the age of elementary school children start to determine the type of food that they will consume because at this age the child has started to get pocket money and not food supplies from the house that made by parents. With this freedom, children are more free to choose the type of snacks they like. The tendency to like snacks that contain lots of flavoring, coloring, and preservatives worsens the child's nutritional condition. The purpose of this study was to describe the behavior of grade 5 and 6 elementary school students about consumption of healthy snacks at Elementary School Al-Hidayah Jabung. The research design used descriptive design. The population is all of the 5th and 6th grade students of Elementary School Al-Hidayah Jabung. The sampling method used total sampling with a total sample of 44 respondents. The variables studied were the behavior of grade 5 and 6 students about consumption of healthy snacks. The data of this study were taken using questionnaire. The results showed that none of the students had good behavior in terms of consuming healthy snacks (0%), while the majority of students had sufficient behavior in terms of consuming healthy snacks as many as 23 children (52%), and almost half of students had bad behavior in consuming healthy snacks as many as 21 children (48%) It is hoped that institutions, researchers, communities and future researchers can develop education for school children about consumption of healthy snacks Keywords: behavior, healthy snacks, school children
