Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak tunagrahita merupakan anak yang mengalami keterbelakangan mental dan pemenuhan kebutuhan dasarnya memerlukan bantuan keluarga. Dengan begitu peran orang tua dibutuhkan dalam hal membimbing dan memenuhi Activity Daily Life (ADL), sehingga anak dapat terpenuhi ADLnya secara mandiri maupun dibantu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan peran orangtua dengan pemenuhan Activity Daily Life pada anak tunagrahita. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan design penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Jumlah populasi 92 orangtua anak tunagrahita di SDLB Kedungkandang Malang. Sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan kriteria inklusi orangtua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita ringan dan jumlah sampel 25 responden. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 22 Mei 2019 di SDLB Kedungkandang Malang. Variabel yang diteliti adalah peran orangtua dan pemenuhan Activity Daily Life (ADL) pada anak tunagrahita. Data diambil dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji Spearman Rank dengan kemaknaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir seluruh responden peran orangtua baik yaitu 21 orang (84%) dan sebagian besar responden pemenuhan ADL mandiri yaitu 15 orang (60%). Hasil uji statistik Spearman Rank diperoleh hasil p=0.003 <α(0.05) dengan r=0.567 hal ini berartiada hubungan yang bermakna antara peran orangtua dan pemenuhan Activity Daily Life (ADL) pada anak tunagrahitadan keeratan hubungan cukup. Semakin baik peran orangtua semakin baik pula pemenuhan ADL pada anak tunagrahita. Melihat hasil penelitian ini maka perlu adanya peran orangtua terhadap pemenuhan Activity Daily Life (ADL) pada anak tunagrahita sehingga pemenuhan ADL dapat terpenuhi dengan baik. This the role of parents is needed in terms of guiding and fulfilling Activity Daily Life (ADL), so that the child will be fulfilled by ADL both independently and assisted. The purpose of this study is to find out relation of the role of parents to the fulfillment of Activity Daily Life of mentally reterded. The design of this study used design correlated with a cross sectional. The populations were 92 parents of mentally retarded children at SDLB Kedungkandang Malang. The sampling used Purposive Sampling with the inclusion criteria of parents who have mild mental retardation and a sample of 25 respondents. The variables studied were the role of parents and fulfillment of Activity Daily Life (ADL) in mentally retarded children. Data was taken with questionnaires and analyzed by Spareman Rank test with 0,05 significant. The results showed that almost all respondents as many as 21 people (84%) played a good role and most of the respondents as many as 15 people (60%) had mentally retarded children with independent fulfillment. The results of the Spareman Rank statistical test showed that p= 0.003<α(0.05) with r=0.567 there was relationship between the role of parents and the fulfillment of Activity Daily Life (ADL) in mentally retarded children with closeness.
