Abstract

ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan penyebab utama mortalitas dan morbiditas yang menjadi resiko gagal jantung, stroke, dan ginjal. Komplikasi hipertensi dapat sangat berbahaya karena hipertensi dapat timbul dengan perlahan dan tanpa gejala apapun, sehingga perlu adanya dukungan yang baik dari keluarga maupun penderita untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dukungan keluarga dengan upaya pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi oleh keluarga pada lansia di puskesmas bareng kecamatan klojen kota malang. Desain penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya semua lansia yang menderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Bareng Kota Malang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 21 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Variable yang diteliti adalah dukungan keluarga dan upaya pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi. Data penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah korelasi sommer‟s dengan nilai α <0,05. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar responden yang mendapatkan dukungan keluarga adalah baik yaitu sebesar 57% dari jumlah tersebut sebagian besar memiliki pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi baik yaitu sebesar 57%. Hasil analisa crosstab menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan upaya pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi dengan nilai p=0,010, r=0,532 yang berarti kekuatan hubungan dalam kategori sedang. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu meningkatkan dukungan keluarga untuk upaya pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi pada lansia serta meningkatkan kesadaran tentang bahaya komplikasinya hipertensi. Complications of hypertension can be very dangerous because hypertension can arise slowly and without any symptoms, so there needs to be good support from family and patients to prevent the occurrence of complications of hypertension. This study aims to determine the support of families with prevention of hypertensive complications by families at the elderly in puskesmas together kecamatan klojen malang city. The population of all elderly who suffer from hypertension in Puskesmas Bareng Malang. The number of samples were 21 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The variables studied were family support and prevention of hypertensive complications. The data of this study were taken by using questionnaire. The statistical test used is sommer's correlation with sig <a (0,010 <0,05). The results of research most of the respondents who get family support is good that is equal to 57% of the total most have good hypertension prevention prevalence that is equal to 57%. The result of crosstab analysis showed relationship between family support and prevention of hypertension complication with p = 0,010, r = 0,532 which means strength of relationship in medium category. From the results of this study can be concluded that the need to increase family support for prevention of hypertensive complications in the elderly and increase awareness about the danger of complications of hypertension.
