Abstract

ABSTRAK Hipertensi saat ini menjadi masalah global karena prevalensi yang terus meningkat. Penyakit ini tidak dapat disembuhkan, tetapi dapat dikendalikan mengingat hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang kronis sehingga penyakit hipertensi membutuhkan perawatan yang lama dan terus menerus. Agar penderita dapat patuh minum obat yang terus menerus tersebut dibutuhkan peran serta keluarga untuk membantu penderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kepatuhan kontrol berobat pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Sitiarjo, Kabupaten Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kolerasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dan didapatkan sampel sejumlah 63 orang. Variabel yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah dukungan keluarga dan tingkat kepatuhan kontrol berobat pasien hipertensi. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi-square dengan taraf kemaknaan 95%. Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kepatuhan kontrol berobat pasien hipertensi (p=0,000). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa klien dengan hipertensi yang berpenyakit kronis sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari keluarga untuk meningkatkan semangat dan motivasi pasien hipertensi dalam menjalani terapi. Kata kunci: dukungan keluarga, kepatuhan pasien hipertensi, Kontrol berobat ABSTRACT Hypertension currently is a global problem because of the prevalence continues to increase.The disease is not curable, but can be controlled considering the hypertension is a chronic disease. Thus,treatment of hypertension requires a long time and continuous. That patients can adherence to continuous therapy is required role of the family to help patients. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support with compiance of medical treatment of hypertension patients in Puskesmas Sitiarjo, Kabupaten Malang. This study was correlational study with cross sectional approach. Samples were selected using consecutive sampling and obtained samples 63 people. Variables that measured in this study were family support with compliance of medical treatment of hypertension. Statistical tests that used was Chi-square with 95% level of significance. The results of the bi variate analysis showed a significant association between family support with compiance of medical treatment of hypertension patients (p =0,000). From the research we can conclude that hypertensive patients with chronic diseases need the support of families to improve spirit and motivation in hypertensive patients who under going therapy.
